Welcome to a TX classic and the only way we drink an old fashioned. Add some Texas grit to an iconic cocktail with TX Texas Whiskey and our secret ingredient – the Pecan Simple Syrup. You’ll want to add this to everything one you try it, and it compliments the flavor profile of our TX Texas Whiskey beautifully. Just try this drink. Trust us.

Ingredients

  • 2 parts TX Texas Whiskey
  • 0.25 parts pecan simple syrup
  • 2 dashes angostura bitters

Pecan simple syrup

  • 1.25 cups of boiling water
  • 1 cup brown sugar stirred in
  • 1/2 cup pecans added
  • low heat to simmer

How to make

  1. 1combine TX Texas Whiskey, syrup and bitters in ice and stir
  2. 2strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass
  3. 3garnish with orange peel and toasted pecan
